Tears Of Truth

My tears, my tears, they do not lie,
sometimes I wish that I could fly,
away from here, oh why oh why,
   must my tears never lie?
Lies may fall from sweetened lips,
   entertwined with slender fingertips,
   filling empty crevice dips,
but my tears, my tears, they never lie.
Sitting in a corner fingers pressed,
   against my eyes fearful lest,
my tears cease thier uncertain rest,
because my tears, my tears do not lie.
Tears from eyes like a waterfall pour,
   running through a closing door
   I can not weep anymore,
because you see, my tears, my tears, well, they can not lie.
